Color

I decided to give color a shot. Skin tones were always a huge problem for me with real paint, and so they were again in Photoshop. Thankfully Joe Quinones gave me a few pointers which helped tremedously.

After finishing, I realized I could easily make this a caricature of two other people, so I made a triptych.

Jon Waters, Don Knotts, and Steve Buscemi.

Your photoshop seems to be coming along pretty well.

I think my only suggestion would be to work a little more with color variance. Kick back the opacity on the brushes you use, and apply numerous layers of colors as you build the shape.....
Then you can go back into your work to pick out key tones to sharpen up the anatomy and features.

I love the triptych, especially the part where John Waters is looking all elegant.
